An academic lecturer with almost 20 years of experience. He specialises in designing HR systems and tools for organizations, with special consideration of building and enhancing competence systems, designing and implementing the systems of employee evaluation, segining and implementing systems of management through objectives, as well as designing and enhancing remuneration systems. He runs lectures and discussion classes in Polish and and English regarding the following subjects, among others: fundamentals of the theory of organisation and management, the science of organisation, personal coaching, personal skills development, strategies of managing organisation's human resources, knoweldge and competence management, and culture management. He also runs BA and MA seminars. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Management since 2016.

 

VICE-DEAN FOR SCIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT

She is a professor in economic sciences specialising in accountancy (2010). In her research, she deals with accounancy and financial reporting, analysis of financial reports, managerial accountancy. A new thread in her research interests is financial management in universities. She is a co-author of, among others, the first in Poland translation of international standards of acountacy; and projects regarding managerial accountancy, the accountancy policy, as well as account plans of many leading Polish enerprises. She participated in a dozen or so scientific projects and expert elaborations connected with the analysos and design of accountancy systems for management, as well as with legal regulations of financial accountancy.

He runs classes in finances of enterprises, international finances, and risk management both in Poland and at universities in Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Iceland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. He was more than once awarded by the authorities of the Faculty of Management for his teaching activity (the Award of the 1st Degree), but, above all, was recognised by the Faculty's graduates (for his high standard of communication during his classes, innovative and out-of-the-box teaching methods, and great competences). A greater part of his activity is devoted to guidance with regard to financing early stadiums of enterprises' development, espeically innovative ones. He is the author of more than 50 pubications devoted to these issues.

VICE-DEAN FOR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Since 2006, he has been employed as a professor of the University of Lodz in the Department of City and Regional Management, and since 2020, he has been the head of that department. Among other things, he performed the roles of a member of the Problem Team for Metropolitan Areas of the KPZK PAN, the Secretary of the Polish Section of the European Regional Science Association, and the Rector's Proxy for Internationalisation of Studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. Moreover, he was a member of the Programme Council at the Faculty of Management, a member of the Faculty Committee for the Quality of Teaching, and the attendant of the "Management in Public Administration" specialisation on the 1st-degree studies. Currently, he is the Secretary of the European Regional Science Association, Vice-Dean for International Relations, as well as the coordinator of the Business Management study programme at the Faculty of Management, University od Lodz. His research interests concern areas such as: integrated management of development of territorial units, and in particular: the system of financing the municipal government units and their institutional effectiveness.

She has been working in the Department of Human Recourses Management since 2006. In scientific and teaching activities, she is applying over a dozen years of professional experience connected with maangerial functions and running financial and personal matters of economic entities. Her scientific research focus, above all, on issues linked with managing human recourses, employee behaviours, measuring and managing absences, as well as internationalising and managing diversified teams. She is the author and co-author of several dozens academic works both in Polish and in English. She runs classes in the costs of labour and personal controlling, peronnel and remuneration administration, and international management of human resources.
